One thing that you should not take for granted even as a new blogger is growing your email list. If you are still new to blogging, a free email marketing provider such as Mail Chimp is the way to go.
Mailchimp offers a free account for businesses with less than 2500 subscribers. This offer makes this email marketing solution perfect for newbie bloggers. Comparatively, MailChimp is also easy to setup compared to other newsletter service providers.
Steps on How to Setup MailChimp with Genesis Enews Extended
I am a big fan of the Genesis Framework. In fact, all my feminine premade themes here in Rakshi Creations are built on the Genesis Framework.
Genesis is definitely one of the most popular WordPress theme frameworks to date and there countless reasons why it is.
If your blog is using a Genesis theme, then I would recommend using the Genesis Enews Extended plugin to provide your email subscription opt-in.

- Sign up for a MailChimp account.

Now, go to APPEARANCE>>>WIDGETS
Look for the Genesis Enews Extended widget and drag it to where you want to place your opt-in box in your blog.
Fill up the box with labels and opt-in pitch for your readers. Copy and paste the highlighted part of the code to the “Form Action” Box.
Do not include the double quotation marks.
Save the widget.
Go ahead and check your blog if the opt-in form looks good. Try to subscribe using your own email address and check if it is working properly.
